Haven't gotten it yet, but demos I've heard sound great. :D

For me this product is not an "If" but a "when"

The core library is 40-50 GB, ten times that of Atmosphere, whose core library is included in Omnisphere, according to the FAQ.

Hey, you know I just found out you can upgrade from Atmosphere for $249. $149 if you own Atmosphere, Trilogy and Stylus RMX. Such a deal! Just did it myself.

They are actually going to release all the atmosphere patches for Omnisphere next week or something I heard. I think the sounds are there, but the patches aren't in yet.

When can we hear some real audio demos and reviews?? I don't feel like I've milked Massive for all its worth to spring for the upgrade (although I DO want a UB plug; the wrapper sucks horribly). Hopefully some audio won't change that (they still haven't posted demos on the Spectrasonics site, and I the contest songs don't showcase it too well).

They say in the site's FAQ section that they're supposedly more concerned with getting the product out to people than in putting together hundreds of audio clips that could demonstrate all the presets and do the thing justice. I think we're just going to have to wait for people to get their hands dirty with it, and then judge by what they're able to accomplish. Something to listen to would be nice, but you must admit, it would be a bit difficult to demonstrate exactly what you're getting from a program that's library is over 60 gigs of samples and is supposed to have "endless possibilities..."

Analog synths have closer to "endless" possibilities than sample synths; and they still manage to post clips of those . . . I'm sure it sounds amazing; I just want to know how amazing.

Same here, but I think synth companies have a thing about not wanting to supply demos until they can include every single preset it comes with... which in this case would be quite a lot, I guess.
