Converting PLAY libraries to KONTAKT

Postby mambokidd on Mon Jan 19, 2009 7:13 pm

I see that East West is moving exclusively to its PLAY engine and no longer offering KONTAKT versions of its best libraries.

In my ideal world, all my samples would exist under 1 sampler
Are you able to covert PLAY libraries over to KONTAKT ?
What are the gotcha's ?

Thanks

Looks like the PLAY thing is helping East West get away from Kontakt. I just got SD2, which is Play-able. Play is not even compatible with stormdrum 1

And for what its worth, the PLAY interface seems way inferior to Kontakt.
