Stand Alone free synth

Postby shapedy on Wed Nov 04, 2009 5:28 pm

I transcribe alot using Transcribe! (great software, by the way) at my computer, but that means I'm far away from a piano. I can get a MIDI controller to power something in the computer. Does anyone know of any free or cheap software that uses few resources that simply produces a tone?
Talking about music is like dancing about architecture.

yet here i am...

Go to KVR and search for "free" "synth"
and search for "standalone" also. You should fine a bunch.
Happy music making!
