Editing in SoundForge

Hi

If this is not the right forum for this question just moveit to the correct one.

I'm trying to do something in Sound forge - After I deleted a part in the middle of a tune, I want to move the "sides" that are left to be slightly over each other, but that you could still hear both of them. Is this possible?

Also, if possible, how do I add a bit of "nothing" between two "sides"?

I hope my questions are clear.

Overlapping parts... no, wrong tool. You really need a multitrack sequencer.
If nothing else, Audacity or Kristal are free.


Adding silence... Process>Insert Silence and tell it how much you want to put in there.
