Is this one of those polls (no offence Tweak ) where everyone just votes for what they already have? Personally, Behringer is "bang-for-the-buck" just because I couldn't afford much more at the time, and thought it was a decent brand name before I heard all the online Berry-bashing. I still like my UB1204, for the record.

In any case, I wouldn't feel compelled to vote unless I've tried at least a few of the listed product lines.

I'm a big fan of Mackie's mixers. Maybe I'm just biased because I live right next to them.

I have used the Mackie Onyx and think it sounds great. For the money they are well worth it.

It's an old poll but a few questions in this regard: what about A&H mixwizards and Soundcraft E or M series?

A mixer quite a bit different but I wonder how it compares is the mackie 8 bus 16/24/32-8 thingie. How does this compare with the VLZ and the Onyx?

what about adding Soundcraft Mixers to the poll?

After my MX9000 let me down and after it lasted 6 months for them to tell me they don't repair it (the tight master channel distorted and went dead), I'll never consider a big desk that is not modular.

So, I'd like to vote for a Soundcraft Ghost, which is my next purchase. it might last a bit though due to its prize. 10 Stereo Channel Line Mixer (Rolls) supported ITB stem mixing till I get there...

It means redoing the whole poll. The ghost is also 6000$, and this is a largeley home studio oriented forum, not many people here even use a mackie 8 bus, so even if this poll is talking about overall, its mostly referring to small format mixers. If our goal was really to discuss the best mixers period. i'd probably expect to see none of these names on their.

It'd nice to see the Spirit by Soundcraft M-series and the allen heath Mixwizard the next time this poll is redone.
