mike(s) for acoustic guitar and vocal for < $400

Hi,
I'm starting a home studio to record mostly vocals and acoustic guitar. I'm looking for advice on what mikes to buy. I'd like to do stereo recording on the acoustic but also be able to use one of those mikes to record vocals (at a separate time of couse). This studio is nothing fancy, I'll probably put a few CDs together but the quality doesn't have to be anything outstanding. I'd like to stay under $400 for the two mikes, any suggestions?

Thanks!
Mike

I know I bring them up a lot, but I can't get enough of the M-Audio Solaris mics... Freakin' magic for freakin' cheap. Very versatile. They're a whisker more than $400 for a pair, but it wouldn't surprise me if you could find a store willing to part with a pair for right around that point...

Hmm,
the Solaris' look a little expensive, I can't find a pair for less than like $580. I was looking at either two Studio Projects C1's, two MXL2003's, or one of those coupled with a meduim diaphram condenser. Any thoughts on what will make the acoustic sound better - 2 large diaphram mikes or 1 large 1 medium? Also, any thoughts on the C1 or MXL2003?
much appreciated,
Mike

Could this have been the mic MASSIVE Mastering referred to?
