Are the MCU midi ports mirrored a somewhere in your environment. Might find the port icon and switch it off.

I'm running a Logic Control and an Extender running from a unitor 8mkII - works the way it should.

I'm working on an Intel Macbook with Logic 7 Express
I'm using Native Instruments Bandstand as a plugin at the moment, and ordered Garritan Personal Orchestra and Antares Harmony Engine.
What's your advice - is it safe to update or will I only be buying problems?
How stable is it??
Is it really worth the 99USD. Is it that much better???
I've worked hard the last months to convert from the old Logic for PC to Logic 7 Express - and to me it seems as if the difference between Logic 7 and Logic 8 will be even bigger that from PC-Logic 4.7 to Mac Logic 7.

_controlfreak wrote:How does the playback buffer in Logic behave? In DP, if you toy around extensively with a soundbite's position right as its about to be played, or mess with a fade right as it gets there, DP will sometimes quit. You really have to be bumping stuff around right before and right after the playback position though... it just happened today and I wanted to throw the computer.

_controlfreak wrote:Thank you for that - Hmmmmmmmmmmmm... hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Well, I'll be at the Apple Store on Friday getting my MacBook's battery replaced (already). Trying out things there is nice because you aren't harassed by sales reps... if you don't mind waiting 20+ minutes to try it. Not a chance I'll pay the sales tax there though!
