how to connect my motif rack es to my firepod

The manual shows midi in and out from moif to firepod but how do I control the sounds without connecting a controller?


Normally I use an external midi controller and record audio from the outputs. This is fine but I would love to be able to record midi.

My external controller (edirol pcr m50) does not have a thru but the motif does, if that helps...?

What can I do?

Control the sounds with the Motif. Or plug in the edirol by usb.
