New Sonar 3 Patch! (So soon? )

Postby owel on Tue Oct 21, 2003 1:29 am

Sonar 3 Plug-in Patch.

This patch addresses issues that were opened subsequent to the October 3, 2003 launch of SONAR 3 Producer and SONAR 3 Studio. The items addressed in this patch are specific to the included plug-ins, not to the SONAR host application itself.

I'll probably be upgrading to ver 3.0 by end of this month.

It looks like they did. There was a problem with the patch where Sonitus reverb settings were getting lost after saving and reopening the file after the patch. Enough people complained that they are probably fixing that before releasing the patch again.

When I rewire Reason into Sonar 3 then use Sonar's audio FXs, reverb, compressor, etc., Sonar 3 freezes my system. Actually, Reason keeps running whereas Sonar 3 crashes completely. Hope the patch addresses this problem which wasn't apparent in Sonar 2.2

It looks like they removed the patch. I went to download it last night and it was gone :?:

Sonar 3 keeps freezing whenever I use audio FXs without Reason rewired. Ctrl-Alt-Delete to the rescue.
This problem did not occur with v2.2
Anybody else having similar problems?

I've noticed it does not like some plugins, does fine with others. The Waves stuff works well. The spectral transformer (cakewalk) crashes it every time here.

Hey Tweak

What is the comparable difference between CWalk's Project 5 and Reason?
I get the impression Project 5 is CWalk's attempt at creating a Reason-like plug-in.
thanks ehminor

Patch/Update

Postby BucKWilD on Sun Dec 07, 2003 6:29 am

Hello Everyone!, I just found out from cake that there will be a major update planned to realease the 3rd week this month. I'm holding off upgrading until January, that way I get the latest instead of downloading multiple patches. I can't stand when there is so many patches for one product in such a short time. Just though you all would like to know.
